10 Incredible Video Games Most People Abandoned At The Start
7. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Trophy data for Call of Duty games offers a fascinating expression of one simple fact - many players simply don't care about the series' single-player campaigns, opting to just dip a toe in before bouncing off and spending the rest of their time in the ultra-addictive multiplayer suites.
Even with that in mind, though, the stats for the FPS franchise's most recent entry, Black Ops 6, show that a stonking 84.9% of players didn't even get through the campaign's first level, "Bishop Takes Rook."
When you consider that the opening mission is only about 20 minutes long and incredibly straight-forward, that's pretty damning.
From there the completion rates for each subsequent level naturally tumble further, enough that only 5.5% of players actually beat the five-hour campaign on any difficulty level whatsoever.
Considering that Black Ops 6's campaign was one of the series' most acclaimed in recent years, it's a damn shame that most didn't even give it a chance, either playing it for a cursory 10 minutes or just diving straight into multiplayer and Zombies instead.
