10 Incredible Video Games That Came From Terrible Movies
9. Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles
The Star Wars prequels gave us millions of debates for the rest of time, but let's take them objectively as movies - as scripts, pacing, shot choices, acting, use of CGI etc.
They're not exactly, well, good.
Point being: To me, Star Wars has excelled WAY more consistently in the digital realm.
The whole saga is set up to be a toy box of potential in the first place, and where the prequels dropped the ball, LucasArts' games were there to pick it up.
Enter Jedi Power Battles, a phenomenal third-person action adventure you can play entirely in co-op, where you'll deflect blaster bolts as Mace Windu, slice through Droidekas as Obi-Wan and explore caves on Tatooine as Plo Koon.
Oh, and shout out to all the licensed music. Duel of the Fates is right up there with the finest stuff John Williams has ever put out, and it NEVER gets old slicing Sith to ribbons with that in the background.
