10 Incredible Video Games That Came From Terrible Movies

8. James Bond: Quantum Of Solace (360 Version)

Three words that make this James Bond game stand out: Call of Duty.

Yes, although the Quantum of Solace movie was an aimless, tired, plodding mess (I literally couldn't tell you a single thing about it other than "there's a cool car chase at the start"), the video game was surprisingly innovative.

The first to be published by Activision, Bond was given the COD treatment with Treyarch on development duties. A Rainbow Six Vegas-style of gameplay involved third-person trade-offs while in cover, as first-person shooting took up the bulk of your time. Going third-person entirely was how the PS2 and DS handled things, but this hybrid approach is always something I adored, and wish WAY more titles would do.

Add on a full roster of actors reprising their roles from the film, the half of this lets you play through Casino Royale's most memorable action moments, and it's almost two movies in one.

The word is that even Daniel Craig enjoyed playing this, and being he seems to despise being Bond himself, that is mighty high praise.
