10 Incredible Video Games That Came From Terrible Movies

5. Jurassic World Evolution

There have been tons of park-builder video games using the Jurassic Park IP, but none with anywhere near as much actual care and attention as the Jurassic World tie-in.

Plus, if we're ranking these games based on a "terrible movie to good game" ratio, Jurassic World being a Jeff Goldblum-impressing pile of sh*t makes this recommendable as a curio, if nothing else.

Thankfully though, there is a lot to sink your velociraptor claws into.

Various portions of the park need to be assembled and placed, prices altered, customers kept happy and new dinosaurs unlocked for bigger attractions, but there's also the option to drive around the park yourself, or bust out the tranquilliser rifle for third-person shooting if something gets loose.

Also, in a full-on "Why not, it's a video game" setup, sometimes your mission objectives are just to let a T-Rex loose in the park, racking up the bodycount as you somehow profit in the background.

It kinda reminds me of how these new movies get made, but all-in-all Evolution is one of the better management sims out there - it's just a shame it was tied to a travesty of a film.
