10 Incredible Video Games You Can't Play Today

6. Cadillacs And Dinosaurs

It's tricky to play any game on this list, since it involves tracking down a discontinued system. However, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs is significantly harder to find, since it was never released on a console in the first place.

The IP started as a short-lived animated series, devised by the writer behind Die Hard. (Yes, really.) Set in the distant future, a group of freedom fighters try to bring peace to the United States, which is now populated with prehistoric reptiles.

As was common practice at the time, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs had a video game tie-in to bring in as much money as possible. Capcom were churning out side-scrollers at the arcades during at the time, so they took it upon themselves to adapt the eccentric cartoon into a four-player beat 'em up.

Even though arcades at the time were drowning in beat 'em ups, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was an instant hit, thanks to its unique pitch. After all, who wouldn't want to dropkick a T-Rex?

As the name suggests, the main campaign contained driving sections, where players had to avoid obstacles and crash into enemies, which differentiated it from its competitors.

Although Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was fun, it never saw life outside the arcade. Despite the fact it could've been packaged in 2018's Capcom Beat 'Em Bundle, this classic was left out for some reason.
