10 Infuriating Video Game Boss Battles That Made You Rage Quit

3. Convicts - Dead Rising

The most infamous enemies from Dead Rising, the convicts are also the most annoying. You first encounter them early on in the game, which means Frank West is a low leveled chump who moves around slower than a senile elder who just had his hip replaced. As Frank hobbles around Leisure Park, these three convicts are in a jeep trying to mow you and any survivors you are with down. They also have a mounted heavy machine gun on the back, because why wouldn't they?

There's more to this annoyance than just the tortoise-versus-hare aspect. As Dead Rising's bosses, Psychopaths usually die in a gruesome manner, never to be seen again. You know, because they're dead, and because you killed them gruesomely.

Or so you think.

The convicts don't follow the psychopathic rules of Dead Rising, however. If you do manage to kill them, you can nab their sweet jeep and deadly machine gun, but only for about 24 in-game hours. At the start of every in-game day at midnight, they respawn, jeep and all. They simply cannot be bothered by mortality. They're too busy p*ssing you off, essentially having some deal with Satan himself to come back over and over, to ruin your life.

To top it off, if you haven't saved the game in awhile and fall victim to these convicts, you can kiss all your progress goodbye as you're forced to load up your last save. Try not to break everything in the room when you realize those orange jumpsuit wearing maniacs just cost you hours upon hours of your life.
