10 Insanely Good Free Switch Games
1. Fortnite
If you don’t know what Fortnite is, you’ve clearly been living under a rock for the past handful of years. This free-to-play game took the world by storm. Not only is it the most played Battle Royale style game, allowing you to enter a new 100 player game in a matter of seconds, but it's one of the few games which is cross-platform across all consoles. I’ve personally played this on the Xbox One, PS4, PC and now the Switch. While I’ll admit that I much prefer the controls on PC, the Switch port is one which I regard highly.
Lacking some of the versatility of other consoles, the Switch makes up for this in Fortnite with assistance to find chests and help you stay on top of the loot game. While I’m not great with the joy cons myself, I know people who can combat even PC players, giving this console’s version of the game as steep a learning curve as any other with a potentially infinite skill ceiling.
