Generally, with the exception of the Metal Gear franchise, we don't get to see older characters do badass things, especially in the realm of combat.

This is why Ghost of Tsushima brings us more or less a blessing in the form of Masako Adachi, who is both an older lady, and basically Rambo, if the film was instead about a 13th century Japanese woman absolutely demolishing anyone who was even vaguely involved in the plot to kill all of her family.

As you might imagine, seeing her loved ones brutally slaughtered has done no favours for Masako's temper, and more often than not she ends up murdering people who you were intending to interrogate to try and get to the bottom of what happened to the Adachi clan.

She's borderline a berserker at points, and can occasionally provide problems for you even though you are on the same side. So if she'd been against you, god knows what could have happened.
