There’s no underestimating just how massive Baldur’s Gate 3 is. Its epic narrative, versatile quest design, and assortment of subclasses and abilities that let players create whatever build they desire captured the unparallelled scale and freedom of Dungeons and Dragons that's made the TTRPG popular amongst fans for decades.

Larian's RPG likewise features enemies from D&D’s fifth edition. One of these is the Reaper Of Bhaal, taken straight from the pages of Descent Into Avernus. In Baldur's Gate 3, these devoted worshippers of the god of death who they take their name from are loyal followers of antagonist Orin and are why many of the fights in the third act are so tough.

Not only do their extra attack and daggers which inflict additional damage to anyone below half health make them extremely dangerous, but they also have a condition that makes nearby creatures vulnerable to piercing damage.

What makes Reapers of Bhaal deadlier is that they can turn invisible at the end of each turn, subsequently giving them advantage on their next attack. If players are unable to see through their invisibility, the best tactic is to use AOE spells and attacks to find them before they down the entire party.
