10 Last-Gen Video Games That Need To Be Remastered
6. inFamous (2009)
Plenty of PS3 owners will be familiar with this Sony-exclusive title, and, given that nothing new has come from the series in years, a remaster would at least be something.
Just about every veteran Sony fan should recognize inFamous as one of the free titles the corporation offered as recompense for the PlayStation Network's 2011 hacking debacle. A PlayStation 3 exclusive, it was one of the few titles the Sony faithful could wave in the faces of dedicated Xbox 360 owners.
It had a fair share of sequels and spin-off titles, but the series hasn't been heard from since 2014's Second Son and First Light. PS4 owners may currently be busy replaying The Last of Us Remastered cyclically before the sequel comes out, but it would be nice to see Sucker Punch revitalize it's old property by remastering the original inFamous title.
inFamous may be antiquated in comparison to its successors, but a remaster would give the studio an opportunity to modernize and fine-tune some of the quirkier bits of gameplay. At its core, inFamous is still a shockingly good time, and that compliment should ring sincere aside from the lame pun.
