10 Most Laughable Versions Of Famous Actors In Video Games
10. Pierce Brosnan - Goldeneye 007
Goldeneye on the N64 is a testament to how gamers are prepared to overlook shoddy graphics in favour of superb gameplay. Granted, Goldeneye looked OK enough in 1997, though even then I remember laughing hysterically at the blocky polygonal character models, which only scarcely resemble an actual human being. Most troublesome are the faces: the characters all have one single expression for the most part, and they essentially consist of low-res images crudely molded over a bulbous object intended to resemble a head. As a result, Pierce Brosnan (and most of the game's other recognisable faces) resembles someone who's had a skin graft after a bad car accident. We can make out who it is, but it's still just a mere shadow of the actual likeness. Thankfully the game is so brilliant and fiendishly addictive that it was easy for gamers to ignore this, or in the case of the game's DK mode (aka Big Head Mode), even revel in it.
