10 Least Imaginative Pokémon From Generation I

1. Muk

Pokemon Original 151
Nintendo

Muk earns its place on the top of this list almost solely because of how often Genwunners trash Trubbish and Garbodor (pun definitely intended). They say, "a garbage Pokémon? Really?! God, they're really running out of ideas, huh?"

How easily they forget Muk, who is just a disgusting pile of sludge with a face.

Grimer is excluded for essentially the same reason as Voltorb - while both designs lack ingenuity overall, their evolutions did nothing to improve upon them. In Muk's case, it's just a bigger, more pissed-off Grimer.

How anyone can earnestly claim that Muk is a more imaginative Pokémon than Garbodor is beyond comprehension. At least Garbodor expanded upon Trubbish's design. At least Garbodor gave itself new arms, hands, and feet. Can Muk claim that? No, it cannot. It just took everything Grimer had and increased its size, like a PhotoShop novice trying to make themselves look taller.

In conclusion, I'd like to pose a question to Game Freak - what are you even doing anymore? A pile of s**t Pokémon?! What's next - a Water-type that's just pee?! Whatever happened to awesome Pokémon like Decidueye, Salazzle, and Golisopod? Now those are REAL Pokémon!

...doesn't feel so good, does it, Genwunners?
