Does anyone else feel like this announcement went under the radar? Probably because THQ Nordic are acquiring and releasing so many games at the moment. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is a ground-up remaster of the sixth generation original.
Rehydrated will include a multiplayer mode, and feature cut content from the original game. Fans will be pleased to know that the classic soundtrack has remained untouched.
The original lacked Mr. Krabs' original voice actor Clancy Brown, but since this gorgeous remaster is adding new features we would welcome this slight change to please the most loyal of fans.
While it is the only game on this list to release in 2020, this multi-plat release could open the door to many classic THQ licensed games to be remastered, so we had to get your attention.
