10 Limited Edition Gaming Consoles That Make Your Wallets Weep

3. Real Gold Legend Of Zelda Game Boy Advance SP

Back in 2004, Nintendo released a promotional Game Boy Advance SP, to tie-in with the release of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. It looked very nice, featuring a gold finish with a Triforce imprinted on the front. For some hardcore Nintendo collectors, the console wasn't the only thing inside the box worth getting their hands on. The packaging claimed that six special boxes contained a golden ticket. This ticket could be exchanged for a solid 24-carat gold Game Boy Advance SP console. Curiously, there have been no reports of anyone ever claiming one, or any listed online for sale. Looks like buying ten boxes wasn't the worthwhile investment you thought it was.
