10 Major Video Game Sequels Coming In 2021
2. Halo Infinite
No introduction is required for the Halo series. Bungie was the founder of the FPS genre for the first four Halo titles, before quitting and handing the torch to 343 Industries. Although their Halo games have been stellar experiences, one can't help but believe that they're not as strong as the previous entries. But, it seems like they're shooting for the stars with Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite is set to be the third chapter of the Reclaimer Saga, with Master Cheif heading on his finest journey to save mankind. The plot of Halo Infinite will be far more human, with Master Chief having a more crucial role than that of Halo 5: Guardians.
There's still a lot of stuff we don't know about this title, but one thing is for sure: we should expect the same awesome gameplay that the Halo series has been pioneering since the days of the original Xbox.
In addition, it will support split-screen again, in reaction to the uproar to its exclusion from the previous game, and the game's multiplayer component will be published as a free-to-play title. Halo Infinite was set to release with the Xbox Series X/S on November 10, 2020, but had been postponed and is now scheduled to be published by the end of 2021.
Halo has never been a slouch when it comes to its releases, and Infinite will no doubt stand tall with its predecessors.
