The first two games in the Final Fantasy 13 series arent exactly well received yet Square insists on continuing the story of Lightning; a protagonist most gamers are indifferent towards. Its commendable that Square is taking feedback into consideration and want to make this franchise worth standing head and shoulders with the classics, but its all in vain. Square is promoting these games like theyre going to be revolutionary game of the year contenders that will flip the entire fortune of the company around. Instead they should be putting projects like Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 at the forefront of their development cycle because those are the games their fanbase want. No one cares about the headache inducing convoluted adventures of Lightning.
