10 More Video Game Sequels You Didn't Know Were Coming In 2020
4. Little Nightmares 2
You know, the puzzle-platformer-horror-adventure genre is criminally underrepresented in the video gaming world.
Little Nightmares however is on hand to satisfy our cravings, having been released by Tarsier Studios in April 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and in May 2018 for the Switch.
Following the story of the always-creepy Six and her iconic yellow raincoat, the game won a lot of our hearts with its unique artistic style and tone, even if the mechanics were slightly buggy at the time.
Little Nightmares 2 looks set to bring back the series' iconic creepy style, with Six returning as our main girl following her escape from Maw at the end of the original game. Six, however, will not actually be a playable character within the game, with the series introducing Mono as our protagonist and opting to keep Six nearby as strictly computer controlled.
Bandai Namco have already promised us more puzzles, more terrors and a continuation of all the things that made the first title such a unique entry to the world of indie games.
On top of all the stylistic improvements, Bandai have also confirmed that the game will benefit with improved loading times, a bigger scale in level design and a much more fleshed out storyline.
