Dynasty Warriors is a series that doesn’t take itself too seriously, what with its over the top hack n' slash combat and larger than life characters. You’ve got the likes of the mighty Lu Bu with his steed The Red Hair capable of destroying entire units in one strike, Guan Yu with his mighty beard who cuts through enemies like they were made of paper… and then there's Huang Gai, who uses a freakin' boat as his weapon.

Now there are other characters who use weird weapons like cards, fans, and yo-yos, but a boat? That’s something else.

And there’s a great deal of thought that’s been put into it as well - the edge of the paddle-loving powerhouse's weapon has been sharpened into a blade, and the best thing is it thematically fits his character as he famously was said to have launched a naval fire attack against his enemies.
