10 More Weirdest Weapons In Video Game History

7. Logarius’ Wheel - Bloodborne

There are few things more satisfying in gaming than just picking up a great big object and hitting people with it. Bloodborne is a game that allows you to wield all kinds of transforming tools to become the ultimate beast hunter. Little saws fold out and become long saws, great big beastly claws attached to your fists can rip through enemies and other players alike, and flashy arcane maces can make combat look as stunning as it is visceral.

And then you’ve got Logarius’ Wheel.

To put it plainly, in a world full of swords, saws, axes and claws, it kind of sticks out a bit. A great big, hulking wagon wheel, almost as hard as the actual chocolate biscuit, The Wheel boasts incredible damage for strength-based characters. Lug this great big daft wooden wheel around and you’ll laugh vigorously as you realise that it’s actually bloody good. Its transformation animation is delightful, as you rest it on your shoulder and spin the wheel to make it come alive with arcane energy, your own blood being absorbed by the weapon.

The more you spin that wheel of fortune, the more you will pour your own energy into the weapon, essentially trading health for damage buffs. It looks and feels ludicrous, but sweet holy beasthood is it fun.
