10 Most Addictive Video Games Of 2017
3. Injustice 2
One of the few setups where an endless loot grind actually feels natural, Injustice 2 contains thousands of costume components, abilities and new moves locked away inside its Mother Boxes. Such a setup means you can pick a character and rank up their respective level, outfitting them with increasingly badass garb at regular intervals.
Thankfully, Injustice's combat is the best one-on-one fighting NetherRealm have ever devised, encouraging progression through the game's randomly generated Multiverse missions (outside of the stellar story, anyway), giving you something new every day.
Naturally the very idea of "dailies" and having exclusive item timers count down is very much a mobile gaming-influenced staple, but Injustice 2 manages to have enough heart, care and attention present throughout that it never feels manipulative, only ridiculously enjoyable.
