10 Most Controversial Video Game Achievements Ever

5. Bladder Of Steel - Rock Band 2

The Achievement

Completed the Endless Setlist 2 without pausing or failing.

Why It's Controversial

There are certainly tougher and more time-consuming achievements than this, but what makes Rock Band 2's Bladder of Steel so utterly maddening is that the six-plus hour marathon of songs must be completed without once pausing the game.

Given how easy it is for players to accidentally hit the pause button during an extended playthrough, not to mention the possibility of the wireless guitar's batteries running out and auto-pausing the game, there are a lot of ways for this to go horribly wrong and waste the better part of an afternoon.

But more than anything, encouraging players to stay glued to their consoles for over six hours without visiting the bathroom is actually pretty dangerous, as holding in your pee for this long can not only result in urinary tract infections but, in extreme cases, potentially deadly water intoxication.

The fact that the achievement's title even made light of its own infuriating inconvenience didn't really help matters, either. The only sane way to unlock this achievement was by playing in shifts with a friend or two.
