10 Most Cringeworthy E3 2015 Moments

1. The Director Of Nier's Creepy Mask

In Square Enix's ongoing attempt to have the weirdest press conference in E3 history, the company announced a new entry into the Nier franchise, headed up by the well-respected hack and slash developers at Platinum Games. However, when the game's director Yoko Taro came out on stage, things quickly turned a little creepy.

You see, Taro doesn't particularly like showing his face in public, a fair enough reservation to have - just about everyone would get a little bit self-concious and nervous being such a popular figure-head. So instead of coming out to talk about games conventionally, the director often shrouds his face, and at this year's E3 he did so by wearing the creepiest mask he could find.

Based on a character from the original Nier, the mask was completely unnerving and weird, especially to those (re: the majority) who weren't privy to the context of why Taro was wearing it in the first place.
