10 Most Frustrating Moments in Gaming

4. Getting Ganked Repeatedly on World of Warcraft (PC)

WoW has an overwhelming community that contains representatives from just about every social group you can imagine. Including bullies. And when there€™s total anonymity and almost zero repercussions, these douche bags are pretty much left completely unchecked. If you ventured into WoW beyond level 10 on a PvP server, you€™re bound to have encountered the phenomena of ganking. This is when another character, or group of characters, kills you despite being a hugely higher level than you, meaning as WoW is a numbers game, there€™s no possible way for you fight back. Ok, getting one-shotted by a level 80 horde as you kill Kobolds in Fargodeep Mine is part and parcel of being on a PvP server, fair enough. I can accept that. But sometimes, you€™ll come across some vindictive, probably lonely individual who€™ll make it his or her mission to kill you repeatedly, for no other reason than that you€™re the lowest level character in the area. It€™s understandably annoying for many reasons, but the ultimate agony comes from the fact that this is another person who€™s choosing to put you through this. Not an A.I, not a tough boss, but a fellow member of the human race. And not only is that frustrating, it€™s also really, really depressing.
