10 Most Incredible Vocal Tracks In Silent Hill History

2. One More Soul To The Call - Silent Hill: Homecoming

Reaching the top three means it's going to get more debatable, but I digress.

"One More Soul to The Call" is the first track on Homecoming's soundtrack and plays during a video sequence when the main menu is left idle and, along with "Shot Down in Flames", is one of the more "rockier" songs with a steady buildup to it.

The song is strongly symbolic to the events that have occurred in the game. "The Call" has potentially three meanings: referring to going into the army, linking to the character and the themes of war; Silent Hill protagonists being "called" to the town; and most likely, the calls that the Gods designate to be required for sacrificed in Shepherd's Glen.

"One more soul to the call, for all, in silence comes
Two more souls to the call, for all, and in time.
Three more souls to the call, they fall, unknowing that
Four more souls to the call won't be all, and you know it."

Regardless of which meaning is right and wrong, it goes to show how well-put-together this song really is that it can link to other ideas.
