Anyone who has played these games will surely have used the amazing chainsaw bayonet to take enemies to task, and it provides not only the most satisfying moments in any of the Gears games, but also one of the best weapons in the history of video games. It's a raw game with brutish, tough enemies, and so providing us with such a visceral, medieval weapon to take them down feels totally, wonderfully apt. Each game has added more insane weaponry, more gore, and more enemies to reduce into such a bloody mist. They've also introduced more and more types of executions you can perform on the enemies, and we hope that the new game, Judgement, will follow suit despite being a prequel. This is one of those games that really makes you feel the weight of the action, and no better is that realised than during some of the grisly kills you're able to perform.
