10 Most Likely DLC Characters For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

2. Geno

Ryu Hayabusha Super Smash Bros
Square

Geno has only made one serious appearance in a video game, that being "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars" for the SNES in 1996. However, he has remained a fan favourite since his introduction, and fans have been lobbying for him to be added to the Super Smash Bros. roster since the days of Melee.

And it's not a far-fetched idea.

For one, Sakurai himself has said that he wants to include Geno in the game, so that's a major endorsement. Not only that, but the Geno costume from Super Smash Bros. Wii U is not currently available in Ultimate, so it's entirely plausible that they're going to have the actual character instead (sorry, Cuphead).

Furthermore, much like Rayman, the inclusion of Min Min as a fighter dispels the idea that spirits cannot be upgraded to fighters, so Geno could certainly make the jump as well.

Geno would likely be a zoning-based character similar to Samus. He would likely utilise his finger and arm cannons, but could also use somewhat-shorter-range Rocket Punches. Of course, his Final Smash would be his most powerful weapon, the deadly Geno Whirl, which would instantly KO an opponent on impact (a la Marth).

All we need for this to come together is for Square-Enix to play ball.
