4. Bare Knuckle 3

Another example of homophobia, though this time a lot more explicit than in Battlefield 3. Bare Knuckle 3, or Streets of Rage 3 as it was otherwise known, was an otherwise solid game, unspectacular and unworthy of much note - that was until gamers got their hands on the Japanese version of the game and were shocked by the appearance of the prancing, bearded, leather-clad boss known as Ash. Ash is everything that is wrong about homophobic profiling of gay men - he is a walking, talking stereotype, dancing around the screen in his high-heels, without inflicting any damage on the player and crying comically when defeated. The whole tasteless affair is played for laughs, and his obvious homosexuality is demonised, rather than merely being a character trait for a genuine villain. Ash is a grotesque, and his depiction is nothing but offensive and damaging. http://youtu.be/CljBOVk-pxI
