10 Most Overrated Video Games Of 2016
5. Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare
The latest Call of Duty game didn't earn some of the series' best recent review scores, but it was still solidly acclaimed as another entertaining shooter well worth fans' time.
However, it's hard to see why. The campaign tried a few new things (such as side missions and a free-roam hub area), but was let down by incredibly repetitive mission objectives and a woefully boring villain as just-barely played by Game of Thrones' Kit Harrington.
The deal-breaker came with the multiplayer, though, which was hampered by a horrendous time-to-kill, making it immensely frustrating to play if you weren't a 13-year-old hopped up on Ritalin. Turn a corner and be peppered instantly with bullets, before the killcam shows you something completely different. It's beyond infuriating and a world away from the typical consistency of CoD's multiplayer.
At least Zombies was pretty sweet once again, but that's the only part of the game that truly succeeds at its goals.
