10 Most Replayable Sci-Fi Video Games Of All Time
4. Mass Effect
In 2007, the ability to explore the galaxy came one giant leap closer when Mass Effect was released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Windows.
Mass Effect successfully combined everything that gamers love about RPGs with everything that makes Sci-Fi great; huge set pieces, stunning futuristic landscapes, and more than a few opportunities to explore the unknown.
Mass Effect not only did all of this effortlessly, but it arguably did it better than any game had before. It's enthralling story was a joy to discover, and the possibility of different endings only served to add to the game's replay value.
The release of two sequels to round out the trilogy added to the narrative of Shepard and the Normandy saving the galaxy, and despite the slightly disappointing ending, all three games are equally enjoyable today.
All three games are so massive, that there's almost certainly something new to experience, even if you've played it through several times already.
