10 Most Satisfying Boss Kills In The Legend Of Zelda Franchise
1. Twinrova (Ocarina Of Time)
And coming in
as the most satisfying boss kill of all time in Legend of Zelda, we have yet
another entry from the masterpiece that is Ocarnia of Time. Twinrova. Double
the boss, double the value, and this boss fight has nothing if not value. From
the get-go, fighting two powerful enemies rather than one is a challenge in and
of itself, as keeping them both in your sights while atop that tiny platform is
frustrating at best. For those who don’t like to rely on Navi’s “helpful hints”,
figuring out how to defeat these sisters in the first stage in a true joy.
By the second stage, having to absorb three blasts of the same element into your shield is a fun challenge, as it forces you to predict which attack Twinrova is going to use next. And, if you get it wrong, the game penalises you by resetting your process making it one of the most punishing fights in the game. However, we’re talking about the kill in this list.
The two witches ascending with halos on their heads is comical as they bicker until the bitter end. This is also probably the last temple you’ll do, marking the end of this phase of the game and into the climax.
