10 Most Unexpectedly Powerful Video Game Villains
1. Flowey - Undertale.
Upon first meeting Flowey, the player would be forgiven for assuming him to just be a friendly flower trying to teach the mechanics of the game, but they would be wrong - dead wrong.
After a few moments of niceties and colourful introductions, Flowey introduces the player to "friendship pellets" and reveals his true nature as a murderous psychopath. Still no big deal right? After all it's just a flower at the end of the day, and he's rather easily disposed of by the much nicer Toriel moments later.
It isn't until the end of the game when Flowey comes back that the player realises just how much of an Eldrich abomination that this little flower actually is. Unless you're on the Genocide route of course, then you're the abomination.
When the entity that is Photoshop Flowey (or Omega Flowey as the fans like to call him) appears, he is absolutely huge, so huge he's not even in the same charming pixel art style that the rest of the game is. Instead he's now a mismatched collection of teeth, eyeballs, and tentacles for some reason.
Such a drastic change really gives a lot more meaning to the term flower power.
