4. Scorched Mothman (Fallout 76)
Wandering the wastelands of Fallout 76's open world will pit you against all sorts of horrifying enemies, from mutants to robots to the worst of them all, humans. That said, Bethesda squeezed an additional element of horror into the game by drawing from the well of legendary cryptids. Finding the likes of the Jersey Devil or the Flatwoods Monster will get your blood pumping, but the budding cryptologists among you will want to see the rarest of them all, the Scorched Mothman.
Mothman, based on the urban legend of the same name, is a rare enemy type you can encounter. The next step up, however, is the Scorched Mothman, an even rarer variant of the enemy infected by the Scorched Plague.
Finding one could take countless hours as it has a miniscule spawn rate. That said, if you want to throw chance by the wayside, then you can meet one of these cursed creatures in the Enclave Research Facility. Of course, locating one for yourself is much more rewarding, even if you'll be searching for a while.
