10 Most Unique Ways You Can Be Killed In Video Games

It's perhaps entirely unsurprising that one of the most surreal and messed up deaths you can get in all of video games comes in a visual novel. What is surprising is that said death involves drowning in an ocean of jelly, because it's the kind of thing that the human brain is not built equipped to deal with in any way. And yet it totally happens in the third "episode" of the series.

For the record, that wasn't a weird figure of speech, either - this game sees you literally drown in a sea of jelly. You have to do this to progress the plot. You cannot finish the plot without a sticky, sweet and mentally-scarring demise at some point.

After the new witch is introduced into the game, she decides to test out her skills on Rosa, due to the pair's prior friendship, leading to the poor woman being killed and revived repeatedly. You are then treated to some delightful first-person narration as Rosa is dunked into an ocean of jelly, sinking deep enough that the pressure of this sickeningly sweet ocean crushes her bones and kills her.

It's... a lot less whimsical than it initially sounds, basically.
