10 Nintendo Switch Ports That Aren't Worth Your Money
5. Overwatch
Overwatch on Nintendo Switch is a prime example of an idea that sounded great on paper, but in reality was just not worth the time and effort in porting it to an inferior piece of hardware.
Sure, there's a novelty to experiencing a Reinhardt smashing through a defensive line in handheld mode or motion controlling a Junkrat tyre towards the enemy, but let's get real for a second. You're either playing Overwatch for accurate head clicking, quick fire reacting to save your team from disaster or competitively rising through the ranks. You're just not going to find that kind of experience here, plus you'll be turning off the gyro controls faster than Genji needs healing.
Even worse, finding a team of players to compete against can be a painful wait. The Switch user base isn't exactly bursting at the seam with players compared to other platforms (especially on PC), which could lead to longer than normal skirmishes with randoms instead of taking part in a proper match or two. Without dedicated cross-play or cross-progression, fans of the franchise would do better to travel to another console instead, especially with Overwatch 2 on the way.
