10 Nintendo Switch Ports That Aren't Worth Your Money
4. Mortal Kombat 11
In fairness to Mortal Kombat 11, it's not a bad port. Visually it's a downgrade and there's a few issues with loading times, but as this list has already proven that's a given for a lot of Switch titles. No, the biggest crime that Netherrealm Studios made in its attempts to bring the bloody brawler to Nintendo's system is its ugly, messy Krypt.
You might remember the Krypt from previous Mortal Kombat entries, a place where various extras, skins and unlocks are tucked away within the confines of undead tombs, unlocked through the use of in-game currency. The Krypt in MK11 is even bigger and more interactive than ever before, with plenty of entertaining nods to its past.
Unfortunately for Switch lovers, any excuse to travel to the Krypt for a good old time is quickly dashed by an incredibly bad and blurry experience that feels more at home on the Nintendo Wii. It's a vastly under-performing area, with much of the experience covered up by the dreaded Superman 64 fog instead of the superior colour and majesty found elsewhere.
As fighting games go on Switch you can definitely find better, but the Krypt is just painfully disappointing and not worthy of your presence.
