10 Online Gaming Tactics That Will Make Everyone Hate You

3. Glitching

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Glitching isn't funny or clever (most of the time), and though it's not nearly as bad as using cheats, it's still manipulating the video game environment in a way it isn't intended in order to get an unfair edge over your opponents. While the onus should really be on developers to quickly release patches to stamp this sort of problem out, if you do start glitching - usually this means reaching areas that the game is not designed to allow you to - you're going to attract the gunfire of just about everyone on the opposing team, who will want to make it clear that a) they're onto you and b) you can't pull this sort of s***. Of course, if the glitcher is on your team, then you might be readily singing their praises, but the second you encounter one flanking you down from an impossible position, you'll be ready to spit bile in their face.
