2. Microphone Abuse
There are few things I despise more in online gaming than folks who don't use the comms faculties properly, and let's face it, who ever uses them as they're really intended? Some, however, take this to head-smackingly frustrating levels by incessantly trash-talking the other team, spouting racist nonsense, or most annoying of all, playing music down their mic, which comes out the other end horribly distorted and near-incomprehensible. Smack-talking down the mic seems to be an attempt to put the other team off, though most of the time it will just result in a ridiculous argument, or more sensibly, the guys being muted altogether. Nobody on either team will be a fan of it, and it doesn't help that most of the time the person spouting the nonsense is a 12-year-old kid whose voice hasn't broken yet.
