8. Splinter Cell's Five SeveN Pistol

The Five SeveN pistol is a staple in the Splinter Cell series, appearing in many of the early titles and rapidly becoming a bit of a fan favourite.

Then came along Splinter Cell: Conviction, ruining all the fun that the pistol previously gave us.

In Conviction, the trusty Five SeveN seems to have been nerfed. In previous entries, the pistol allowed you to target up to four people at once; in Conviction, this handy little perk is taken away from us.

While Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell's stealthy, shadowy, green goggle enthusiast is no doubt a damn good spy and killer, the ability to take down four people at the same time is perhaps just a smidge too overpowered and makes the game a lot easier than it probably should be.

It was damn fun to use though. Hopefully in the recently-announced continuation of the Splinter Cell series they can take pity on us and give us the trusty Five SeveN pistol we all deserve and need.
