Finding legendary or any other powerful gear in a game is great. The reward usually feels powerful enough to make you feel like you've accomplished something big and were appropriately rewarded for it.

But what happens after you've already found the most powerful weapon? Well, how about feeding your insatiable power trip by going one step further and grabbing something even better? An overpowered weapon the developers never wanted you to get?

Although you might get some really good loot legitimately, exploits, bugs, and cheats open a whole new world of possibilities for expanding your firepower.

By utilizing the right dirty method, you can get your hands on items that weren't supposed to end up in your possession, such as a boss-exclusive sword or a debug gun that can one-shot any enemy in one shot!

The possibilities for broken fun are endless when you don't mind messing with the game a little bit, so if you're looking to add some unintentional firepower into your favorite title through less than legitimate means, the following weapons will definitely strike your fancy.

10. Djinni Scimitar - Baldur's Gate 3

Baldur's Gate 3 allows you to loot, trade, or pickpocket pretty much any piece of equipment in the game, but there are some exceptions to this rule, like the powerful Djinni Scimitar, which is normally inaccessible to the player.

"Normally," because you can get it with a clever exploit.

Beneath the main temple in Act 3, there is a secret room with rare artifacts that were offered as gifts to the gods.

Stealing the artifact will bring the deities' wrath upon you, and you will receive a special curse, which, when broken, will spawn a group of djinnies to attack you.

The djinns are programmed to not drop anything, but if you break the curse on the main floor of the temple instead of beneath it and then wait a day, you can trick the script to spawn a bag with their deadly scimitars anyway.

The reason why this exploit works is likely that the main floor of the temple is part of the main hub map of Baldur's Gate, and because of this, the game keeps track of who dies there and what loot they drop.

But regardless of the whys and hows, the important thing is that with the exploit, you can pick up the most powerful elemental blade in the game!
