10 Overpowered Video Game Weapons You Weren't Supposed To Get
7. Crissaegrim - Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night
Crissaegrim is considered to be the most overpowered weapon in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Thanks to its ability, which allows it to automatically send a flurry of blades at everything in front of Alucard, it is capable of destroying every boss, including Dracula, in a matter of seconds.
The only problem is that it only drops from one enemy, a small zombie head named Schmoo, and its drop rate is so low that the game expects you to have only a once-per-playthrough chance to obtain it.
Thankfully, the fans have come up with a way to cheese the system and guarantee you get the blade anyway.
Since the luck stat affects the drop rate of items, if you maximize it before fighting Schmoo, you can significantly increase your chance of getting Crissaegrim (don't worry, you won’t need any other stat once you acquire it).
Afterwards, making Schmoo drop your desired blade is as easy as exiting and re-entering the fighting arena a few times so that Schmoo respawns.
Normally, this process requires hundreds of tries, but with high luck, you should be able to get Crissaegrim in a couple of minutes.
And then be able to finish the game almost just as quickly!
