Fallout: New Vegas is a pretty immersive game, but just beyond the veil of captivating storytelling and setting lies a whole world of test cells and developer tools that were used to make your experience so great.

Normally, you're not supposed to see or know about any of them, but since most of these tools were not removed when the game was released, some of the fans were able to find them through data mining, and what they discovered was the most powerful weapon in the game.

Simply called "Debug megapistol," the inconspicuous gun looks like your average 9mm pistol, but it is actually capable of dealing the maximum amount of damage in the game, more than 9,000 raw damage per shot.

Obviously, the gun was not meant to be used in a regular playthrough, which is why you can't find it anywhere on the map. However, the gun can be spawned into your game using console commands and its form ID, "001465A6".
