5. The Division

Current Status: On the receiving end of many touch-ups across 2017, The Division joined Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Rainbow Six: Siege and For Honor as titles Ubisoft were determined to save after notably naff launches.

Now, whilst Siege became a bonafide FPS phenomenon with many completely overhauled features, The Division's former no.1 sales spot and 100s of thousands of players... remained at a 94% loss. Just as it was at the close of 2016.

The Future: Credit to Ubisoft - they're still trying to make The Division into A Thing. It's not too much of a leap to connect the meteoric player stats of the first Destiny to why The Division became so loot and grind-heavy in the first place, though that's also why the fanbase dropped off so much: Those systems were far too obvious.

At one point The Division was set to be Ubisoft's "next big franchise", but with such threadbare appeal and little utilisation of its recreation of New York, there's zero reason to assume a sequel will come - let alone half a decade's worth of support.
