10 Promising Games You Didn't Know Were Coming In 2015

7. Earthlock: Festival Of Magic

Developer: Snowcastle Games Release: 2015 Good-looking indie RPGs based on a new IP are getting rarer by the year, but Earthlock: Festival of Magic has managed to turn more than a few heads since its announcement in 2013. Set on the fantasy world of Umbra, Earthlock looks to capture the light, cartoony feel of the console JRPGs that saw popularity in the '90s. In many ways, Earthlock: Festival of Magic is an RPG in the most traditional sense, featuring turn-based battling, item crafting and dungeons to explore. There's also an interesting farming system that allows the player to use special ammunition and abilities in battle. The main attraction is the world of Umbra itself though, which is reminiscent of the beautiful, dream-like designs of Studio Ghibli. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJpWeD571SA
