For those less familiar with the online shooter though, Killing Floor originated as a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004, before receiving its very own retail release in 2009. The game sees players work together in fighting waves of horrifying 'specimens,' before battling a large boss during the final wave. It's addictive stuff, and the game still has a large following thanks to top notch developer support.
