4. Savage Starlight (Naughty Dog's New IP)
Heavily rumoured ever since the original Last of Us released, it's believed that behind closed doors, Naughty Dog may actually be working on a brand new IP called Savage Starlight.
You may remember that in the Last of Us, Ellie regularly can find and read a comic book series. These books are entitled Savage Starlight, and ever since she first picked up one of those comics, people have been theorising that Naughty Dog is working on a space adventure of the same name.
There have been a few clues over the years that this could potentially be the case; in Uncharted 3, for example, they had references to the Last of Us. Then, Eric Hayashi, Senior Staff Technical on Uncharted 3, registered www.savagestarlight.com in his name.
While Naughty Dog has gone all-out on their Uncharted and Last of Us IPs in recent years, the PS5's reveal could be the perfect time to actually bring a brand new IP into the gaming world.
