10 Rarest Choices In RPG Video Games
7. Leave The Camarilla (Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong)
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is a game that lacks polish, but it does have some redeeming qualities, such as the incredible story choices. The game puts you in control of three separate Vampire protagonists living in Boston, all attempting to keep The Camarilla alive and thriving. For the uninitiated, The Camarilla is an organised sect of vampires who run things from behind the scenes.
While living by the rule and life of this sect is standard for almost every vamp, one of the protagonists, Emem, is given the chance to skirt her loyalty to the order. This choice comes during her epilogue scene, wherein she can quit the organisation and strike out on her own.
The freedom of becoming an Anarch Vampire certainly sounds appealing on paper, but it's an option that not many players have sunk their teeth into. You see, there are some bigger implications, namely that leaving The Camarilla means covering up the work of a traitorous Vampire. With that in mind, it's no surprise the numbers of players doing this are low; True Achievements sets it at 11%, with PSNProfiles and Steam landing at 8.93% and 4.2%, respectively.
