10 Rarest Choices In RPG Video Games

6. Take Control In The Name Of Bhaal (Baldur’s Gate 3)

The sheer depth of Baldur's Gate 3's player reactivity is staggering. As such, the game has multiple ending options, with one of the rarest chosen being to shoo away any sense of good alignment and take control of the horrifying Netherbrain, achieving absolute power for yourself. Still, while around 12.77% of players (via PSNProfiles) opt for this dire ending, there's an even rarer option that somehow makes it worse.

Those playing the Dark Urge, an optional character with a unique storyline, will find themselves conflicted between resisting or embracing the dark tendencies of their father, Bhaal, the God of Murder. If you welcome this murderous divinity, accepting your father's gift and attaining the Slayer Form, you can further achieve BG3s most evil ending. This choice sees you dominate The Netherbrain on behalf of your divine pops and use its power to bring death, chaos, and murder upon the world. Yikes.

Thankfully for the people of Faerun, not many players choose to do this. PSNProfiles trophy data shows that only 7.69% have gone this far, with Steam showing 3.1% and True Achievements landing at 3%.
