Gris is a visually striking, somewhat underappreciated platformer released back in 2019 on both Switch and PC. Whilst it got great reviews when it first launched, its since flown under the radar for a lot of gamers even though it sold roughly 1 million copies.

The "Signature Edition" of the game came with a few extra goodies, like an art book and a limited edition vinyl - all for the low, low cost of $250.

$250 for a relatively little-known title likely put a lot of people off investing in the special edition, but this probably didn't scare developer Nomada Studios too much considering they only manufactured 250 copies of the Signature Edition.

That likely goes some way to explaining why the game has since been spotted on eBay for upwards of $800. What makes matters worse is that there have only been a few listings for the Signature Edition spotted online since 2019, meaning that very few of those original 250 buyers seem keen to part ways with their incredibly rare editions of the game.

It seems there really are some things that money can't buy, so maybe set up those eBay alerts ASAP if you're desperate to grab a copy.
