Value: $150 Whatever happened to Klonoa? The cool cat-like creature had only a couple of video game outings, both of which were perfectly good platformers. Unfortunately, Klonoa had stiff competition from the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and later Jak & Daxter, so it wasn't an easy scene to stand up and get noticed on. But while Klonoa's rivals achieved immense critical success, none of them can boast of being one of the most valuable games on their respective console. A sealed black label copy of Klonoa 2 is worth around $150. The game is a 2.5D platformer that came out when 3D platforming was at the peak of its powers. Klonoa 2 is pretty unique in terms of level design, setting the player on a linear path and yet feeling like a vast and beautifully designed 3D world. At least, as its value suggests, Klonoa has found some appreciation among collectors' circles, if nowhere else.
