It has to be summed up as a whole, the PC is just a superior gaming platform compared to consoles. You can't pin-point one definitive reason why, because there are a multitude of reasons. It looks aesthetically better too; consoles are designed to look 'cool' to teenage boys, but a PC is a sophisticated utility that looks smart in your house. Overall it has to come down to simple facts. The PC hardware outstrips the console hardware. It can do more, it can evolve easier, it offers more gameplay, the graphics are far more crisper.... PC gaming wins.
